Panopticon Imaging has created high quality imaging services since the 1970's. All printing services are archivally produced and meet our rigorous quality control standards. We work closely with photographers and curators to create remarkable prints that are as emotionally charged as they are aesthetically excellent. Beautiful exhibition prints showcase collections and accurately communicate artists intentions.

Traditional Printing
Our traditional black & white lab has printed back-to-back Pulitzer Prize winning photographer Stanley Forman, Polaroid Corporation's marketing portfolio and the production of Ernest Withers' Memphis Blues Again Limited Edition Portfolio. Master Printer, Paul Sneyd, has been working with Panopticon Imaging for almost twenty years and produces all of our traditional darkroom prints in-house. All images are toned, spotted, flattened and ready to frame.

Digital Printing
Our expertise in 8-color inkjet printing began after we were satisfied with the long-term permanence of the materials. We encompass the newest imaging technology with the remarkable tonality of traditional photographic methods. The emergence of archival inkjet inks and fine art papers has enabled Panopticon Imaging to produce museum quality prints up to 40 inches wide. An example is the current traveling exhibition of Bradford Washburn's aptly named exhibition: COLOSSAL.
