At Panopticon Imaging, our goal is to bring out the best in every roll of film. We offer professional custom machine and hand-line film processing for photographers of all levels, from disposable cameras, 35mm, and medium format to large format sheet film up to 8x10.
Whether you’re shooting your first roll or working on a professional project, we provide careful, consistent processing with options for high-resolution scans, contact sheets, and prints. Every order is handled with the attention to detail expected from a fine art photography lab.
Drop off your film anytime with our secure 24/7 film drop box, no appointment needed. Envelopes and order forms are available outside our front door. We’ll email you once your order is received.

Don’t have time to stop by during business hours? Our secure film drop box is available anytime outside our front door.

Once your film is collected, we will email you a digital invoice. No appointment is needed.
Film can also be dropped off and picked up directly at Panopticon Gallery in Boston’s Kenmore Square.
Mail-In Film Processing
Can’t visit the lab in person? We accept film orders by mail from photographers around the country.
Download our mail-in form, package your film securely, and send it to us. Once received, we will process your order and return your negatives, scans, and prints according to your requested services.
Return shipping is available for completed orders. Please contact us if you have questions about mailing film or requesting specific services.

Due to the nature of the E6 process, we must wait until we have at least 4 rolls of E6 film in house before processing. Employees will advise customers on current wait times when order is placed.
